Message I'd like to share my dealings with Z1 - and let me say that before I ordered from them ($2700 worth), I looked at some of the comments here and on other forums. At any rate, I thought I would get better service than I did - I'm left disappointed, and looking for someone else to deal with for the remainder of my project (another $4500 to go).

Here's what happened:
May 22 - I order an engine rebuild kit and various other items; asked for a price on a custom length platinum driveshaft - I was told they'd get back to me on the price and ship everything out the next one or two business days.

June 6 - I email to ask when my order shipped out
June 7 - get a reply that "everything except for the pulley kit is going out today" - What??! that's two weeks, not two days.

July 28 - I get my shipment (except for the pulley kit) - Z1 put my city as "Victory" instead of "Victoria"... thx.
August 11 - I email to confirm Rod bearing grades and correct my address for next time, in writing so they can't get it wrong. I also ask about the pulley kit and the custom driveshaft price.
August 15 - I get a response from Z1 confirming details about the bearings.
August 16 - I ask "can you answer the questions about the pulley kit and the driveshaft?"
August 18 - Z1 guy responds "yes i can answer any question"--- obviously not the brightest bulb in the pack, since the questions were already asked...
August 22 - I reply, telling him that I asked the questions in the note he replied to... no response.
August 23 - I reply with rod bearing measurements, and ask them to confirm when they ship.
August 30 - I get a fedex tracking number for my shipment, that's going to "Victory". Still no word on the driveshaft. Z1 bats 1000.
Sept 8 - I get my shipment, packed in a box with too few peanuts - luckily the Pulley kit survived unscathed. Of the 12 bearing halves, however, 7 have been packed loose or in newspaper, and are all scored - useless. At this point I just laugh, as I've really come to expect nothing less than a total screw up from these morons.

So, I'm sure if someone from Z1 sees this post, there will be all kinds of rhetoric about how they'll make it better, but really - they had ample opportunity to make this transaction go better and they didn't. I'll just go and buy the bearings I need from Nissan, and never deal with Z1 again - I just don't have that kind of time to waste on people who can't understand the most basic elements of the very thing they do for a living every day...

YMMV...
